Keyword Rich Domain Names Improve Ad Results

A recently released research report documents the value of keyword rich domain names to improve results in online advertising campaigns.

Identical ad copy and designs were tested with the only difference being the domain name in the ad. The ad using the keyword rich domain name with an exact match to the product (ElectricBicycles.co.uk) performed significantly better than the ads featuring alternative generic domain names (YourBikes.co.uk and InAHurry.co.uk).
